Billbo - 5 year old male
5 years old
Currently living in Staffordshire
No resident dogs
Not been cat tested
No resident children
Billbo is currently in foster in Staffordshire, any enquiring adopters can speak to the foster family direct (settusfree team member) and a meet and greet is welcomed.
Billbo has had a tragic start and continuation in life. He was left for dead tied to a tree in Italy and has now been reluctantly relinquished. It is an extremely unfortunate situation but one that could not be helped.
Billbo will need someone who is willing to get to know him before him moving into his new home. He will require a complete hands off approach and will need space and time to settle into his new home.
Billbo is now crate trained and has taken great comfort in this. For a home of more than 1 person a crate would be strongly recommended whilst he settles, to allow him to come to you in his own time. He adapts much quicker when he can view the daily habits of the house without having to be in the thick of it.
It took Billbo 3 days to approach his foster family and want attention, since then he has blossomed.
Billbo is extremely human orientated and would need parents who want a dog to love and have as a companionship, once you have gained his trust he will confine in you and love you endlessly.
Billbo has previously lived and played with dogs and is not reactive towards dogs at all when he is out walking. He is very fearful of them in home environments and a home without a resident dog is best.
He has so far adapted to all situations wonderfully and is accepting of being inspected (like at a vets) he loves to be groomed and walks incredibly on the lead and travels happily by car. He has zero prey drive and would love nothing more than to potter around in the garden and to curl up on the sofa with people that love him.
